Wanthida "Mim" Saiphim

A passionate advocate for educational equity, Mim is a curriculum design and program management expert with over a decade of experience empowering underserved youth in Thailand. She is a driving force behind innovative, culturally responsive training programs that equip learners with essential career skills and open doors to new opportunities. Mim excels at adapting global best practices to the unique needs of the Thai context, ensuring that education is both relevant and transformative.

Mim has extensive experience leading the design and implementation of impactful education initiatives. As Curriculum and Instruction Lead at Generation Thailand, she develops and delivers cutting-edge learning experiences, incorporating culturally relevant curricula and building strong partnerships with universities and key stakeholders across Thailand. Prior to this, she honed her skills with organizations such as USAID, GIZ, and the Peace Corps, where she designed cross-cultural training programs, standardized curricula, and led initiatives to analyze and address training needs across Southeast Asia.

In 2024, Mim was selected as a Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Fellow and joined the University of Pittsburgh's Center for Sustainable Business. During this fellowship, she conducted research on the challenges faced by low-wage workers in Pittsburgh and their impact on the economic sustainability of businesses. She actively engaged with local organizations and community initiatives, gaining valuable insights into collaborative approaches to economic development. Furthermore, Mim participated in university and city events focused on sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, deepening her understanding of the role of fair labor practices within broader sustainable development goals.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mim volunteers as an English teacher for underserved youth, reflecting her deep-seated commitment to community development and her belief in the power of education to inspire and uplift the next generation.
