Sorawis Nateeratanakamjai

Sorawis is an experienced financial professional with over 11 years in the securities and accounting industries. Before joining the Center for Sustainable Business, he served as Assistant Director at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Thailand. In this role, he led the analysis of Initial Public Offering (IPO) projects and conducted regulatory impact assessments. Prior to his time at the SEC, Sorawis developed his expertise as a Senior Audit Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (Thailand), where he managed audit teams and handled complex, high-risk audit assignments, primarily focus on Mining and Energy sectors. He is also actively engaged in social and volunteer work, often leading financial literacy roadshows and contributing to corporate social responsibility initiatives.

 

As a participant in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI PFP), sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the American Councils for International Education, Sorawis joins the Center for Sustainable Business at the University of Pittsburgh as a visiting fellow. His focus will be on researching innovative financial products and instruments, as well as on developing strategies to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups, with an emphasis on channeling capital toward sustainable businesses.
