Event Description
One of the featured presentations “After Redlining: Overcoming Unjust Impacts and Building Equitable Futures” discussed how historic redlining is still negatively impacting neighborhoods in Pittsburgh and across the U.S. including green space access, food security, socioeconomics, and educational opportunities. Attendees learned what is being done to address the historical ramifications of redlining and how each of us can help uplift communities to develop just cities.
