Small and Medium Business Summit: Appalachian Sustainable Potential
The SMB Summit will be an intimate, invite-only event.
This year, we will:
- Formally launch our SMB membership.
- Reveal sustainability opportunities for small and medium businesses in Appalachia.
- Identify how this unique group can collaborate to achieve a just transition.
The event will be held at the Lower Lounge of the William Pitt Union on campus, with remote attendance options for broader accessibility.
The summit kicks off at 9 AM with coffee and introduction session, and the content wraps up at Noon, followed by a lunch break. During this time, we will hear from Cara Steinberg about Appalachian opportunities, Lou Tierno about CSB opportunities, past Fellows about their applied research and discuss your biggest sustainability questions and challenges. Following the summit, we hope you will join us for lunch to connect with other sustainable small and medium business leaders in the region!
